Find the derivative if y=e^(2x)-lnx^(2)

Im stuck, all i have is 2e^(2x)-2/x

d/dx (ln u)= 1/u * du/dx

In this case u= x^2 so du/dx= 2x

You could get the same thing by rewriting

ln x^2 = 2lnx and taking the derivative.
