Plastic also takes hundreds of years to decompose, leading to long-lasting environmental harm. On the other hand, plastic has also brought about significant advancements, such as in medical equipment and technology, that have improved human life. Overall, while plastic has its drawbacks, I believe it's more about how we use and dispose of it that makes it harmful rather than the material itself.
