Explain how a burette is filled up

1. Ensure that the stopcock at the bottom of the burette is closed.

2. Use a funnel to pour the liquid into the burette through the top opening.
3. Fill the burette slightly above the zero mark on the scale, making sure to remove any air bubbles trapped in the liquid.
4. Slowly open the stopcock and allow the liquid to flow out until it reaches the zero mark.
5. Close the stopcock to prevent any spillage.
6. Now the burette is properly filled and ready to be used for volumetric analysis or titrations.
