What are the five components of reading
1. Phonemic awareness: The ability to hear, identify, and manipulate individual sounds in spoken language.
2. Phonics: Understanding the relationship between letters and sounds, and using this knowledge to decode words.
3. Vocabulary: Knowing the meaning of words and being able to understand new words encountered in text.
4. Fluency: The ability to read with speed, accuracy, and expression, allowing for comprehension and enjoyment of reading.
5. Comprehension: Understanding the meaning of text, making connections between ideas, and being able to draw conclusions and analyze the text.
