Polyhedron

Face
Edge vs vertex

A face in a polyhedron is a flat surface that forms one of the sides of the polyhedron.

An edge in a polyhedron is a line segment where two faces meet.

A vertex in a polyhedron is a point where three or more edges meet.

In a polyhedron, the number of faces, edges, and vertices are all related through Euler's formula: F + V = E + 2.
