The students are excited to meet Miep Gies, the brave woman who helped shelter Anne Frank and her family from the Nazis, and in doing so risked her own life.

Who is a person you admire who you wish would come speak to the school, and why? [even if they have passed away, imagine there was still a chance for them to share their story with your classmates].

I would love for Malala Yousafzai to come speak to our school. Malala's courage and determination in standing up for girls' education in the face of violence and oppression is truly inspiring. Despite being shot by the Taliban for advocating for education for girls in her home country of Pakistan, Malala has continued to be a powerful voice for change and a symbol of hope for millions around the world. Hearing her speak about her experiences, her advocacy work, and her unwavering dedication to making the world a better place would be a truly unforgettable and impactful experience for all of us.
