For 7 days keep track of the number of pieces of mail you receive at your home.

a. Put your data into a frequency table having intervals of 0–4, 5–9, 10–14, and
15–19.
b. Use the frequency table to create a histogram of the data.
c. Do you notice any patterns in the histogram?

a.

Number of Pieces of Mail | Frequency
0-4 | 3
5-9 | 2
10-14 | 1
15-19 | 1

b.

c. From the histogram, it appears that the majority of days had 0-4 pieces of mail received. There were a few days with 5-9 pieces of mail, and even fewer days with 10-14 or 15-19 pieces of mail. Overall, it seems that the amount of mail received at this home tends to be on the lower side.
