Is Poverty the main cause of family dysfunctionality ?

Poverty can certainly contribute to family dysfunctionality, but it is not the only cause. There are many factors that can lead to family dysfunctionality, including mental health issues, substance abuse, domestic violence, lack of communication, and unhealthy family dynamics. While poverty can put additional stress on a family and make it more difficult to address these issues, it is important to recognize that family dysfunctionality can occur in families of all socioeconomic backgrounds. Addressing poverty can help alleviate some of the stressors that contribute to family dysfunctionality, but it is not the sole cause.
