I think that technology is beneficial to our society. For example, a phone. Before phones, people used to write letters. They had to write them and then send them to who they wanted. It took a long time to get to that other person. Therefore, a conversation could take days! Now with phones, you can just call someone and talk back and forth with them instead of having to write a letter. Another example of how technology is beneficial might be the refrigerator. Before refrigerators, people used spices and other methods to keep their food fresh. Now, you can just put all your food in the refrigerator and keep it cool and fresh until you need to use it. These two examples show that technology is beneficial to our society. A downside of technology though could be that cars and other vehicles cause pollution. But people can help resolve this problem by using other sources of energy such as sunlight, wind, or hydroelectric power.
