Who was an explorer/native person in the Global Convergence

One example of an explorer in the Global Convergence was Christopher Columbus, who is known for his voyages across the Atlantic Ocean in the late 15th century. He was a key figure in the European exploration and colonization of the Americas.

A Native person who played a significant role in the Global Convergence was Squanto, a member of the Patuxet tribe who helped the Pilgrims survive in the early days of the Plymouth Colony in present-day Massachusetts. Squanto had been captured and taken to Europe before returning to North America and using his knowledge of English to facilitate communication and trade between the Native peoples and European settlers.
