Not all children with ADHD exhibit hyperactivity. There are three subtypes of ADHD: predominantly inattentive, predominantly hyperactive-impulsive, and combined. Children with predominantly inattentive ADHD may not display hyperactivity. Some children with ADHD may only exhibit impulsivity, without hyperactivity.
