Describe how abultion is performed

Abulation, also known as ablution, is a ritual washing performed by Muslims before prayer. It involves washing specific parts of the body in a prescribed manner to purify oneself before engaging in worship.

The process of ablution typically involves the following steps:

1. Intention (Niyyah): Before starting ablution, one must make a clear intention to perform the ritual washing for the purpose of prayer.

2. Washing the hands: The process begins by washing the hands, including the fingertips and wrists, three times.

3. Rinsing the mouth: The mouth is then rinsed with water three times, making sure to swish the water around and spit it out.

4. Cleaning the nose: The nostrils are cleaned by sniffing water into them and then expelling it three times.

5. Washing the face: The face is then washed three times, from the hairline to the chin and from ear to ear.

6. Washing the arms: Each arm is washed up to the elbow three times, ensuring that all areas are covered.

7. Wiping the head: A wet hand is passed over the head from the forehead to the back of the head, and then back again.

8. Wiping the ears: The index fingers are used to wipe the inside and outside of the ears with water.

9. Washing the feet: Finally, the feet are washed up to the ankles, ensuring that all areas are covered, three times.

After completing these steps, the individual is considered to be in a state of ritual purity and is ready to perform their prayers. Ablution is an important part of Islamic worship and is performed multiple times a day by devout Muslims.
