Where did south asias first civilization develop

South Asia's first civilization developed in the region of the Indus Valley, which is now part of present-day Pakistan and northwest India. This civilization is known as the Indus Valley Civilization or Harappan Civilization, and it flourished from around 2600 BCE to 1900 BCE. Some of the major cities of this civilization included Harappa, Mohenjo-Daro, and Lothal.
