The structures at Great Zimbabwe were primarily built from natural rock. The intricate stonework, including walls, towers, and enclosures, was constructed using large granite boulders and blocks. Some structures may have also incorporated mud and bricks, but the predominant building material was natural rock. Metal was likely used for tools and other purposes, but not as a primary building material.
