Animal habitats grade 4 activity

Activity:

1. Research different animal habitats such as forests, deserts, oceans, grasslands, and wetlands.
2. Choose one habitat to focus on for your activity.
3. Create a diorama or poster that represents the chosen habitat.
4. Include pictures of animals that live in the habitat, as well as plants and other features.
5. Write a short description of the habitat, explaining the climate, plants, animals, and adaptations that help the animals survive in that environment.
6. Present your diorama or poster to the class, and be prepared to answer questions about the habitat you chose.

Extension:
7. Research endangered animals that live in your chosen habitat and create a conservation plan to help protect them. Share your plan with your classmates and discuss ways to raise awareness about these animals and their habitats.
