These individuals have the authority to make the change because they are elected by the citizens of Oregon to represent their interests and make decisions on their behalf. The change I would like to see is a reversal of the decision to reduce educational standards, specifically in terms of curriculum requirements and testing standards. If this change was implemented, students would receive a higher quality education that better prepares them for college and the workforce, ultimately leading to a more competitive and successful society.
