Materials:
- Picture cards of autumn scenes
- Fall leaves for observation
- Craft materials for creating an autumn wreath
- Whiteboard and markers

Procedure:

Introduction:
1. Begin the lesson by showing students picture cards of autumn scenes and ask them what season they think it is.
2. Discuss with students the characteristics of autumn, such as cooler temperatures, falling leaves, and shorter days.

Main Activity:
1. Show students different types of fall leaves and have them observe and describe the changes in the leaves during autumn.
2. Discuss with students how animals and plants prepare for autumn, such as squirrels gathering food and trees shedding their leaves.
3. Have students create an autumn wreath using craft materials, incorporating items that represent autumn such as leaves, acorns, and pumpkins.

Closure:
1. Review with students the characteristics of autumn and the changes that occur during this season.
2. Allow students to share their autumn wreaths with the class and discuss how they represent the season.

Assessment:
- Observe student participation during the discussion and activities
- Evaluate student understanding of autumn characteristics through their creation of the autumn wreath

Extension:
- Have students research and present on how different cultures celebrate autumn
