The Georgia Legislative Branch is responsible for making state laws, approving the state budget, and overseeing the state's executive branch. They have the power to propose, debate, and vote on legislation, as well as to investigate state agencies and officials. The Legislative Branch also has the authority to override a governor's veto with a two-thirds majority vote.
