Unit text area and Perimeter answers

The formula for calculating the area of a rectangle is length x width. The formula for calculating the perimeter of a rectangle is 2(length + width).

For example, if the length of a rectangle is 5 units and the width is 3 units:

Area = 5 x 3 = 15 square units
Perimeter = 2(5 + 3) = 16 units

So, the area of the rectangle is 15 square units and the perimeter is 16 units.
