You call a builder and ask them to build you a house twice the size of your current house. The new coordinates of your house are (-4,0), (-4,4), (-2, 6), (0,4), and (0,0). (These are the coordinates after a scale factor of 2)
As the builder starts construction on your new house, you can't help but feel excited about the future. With your newfound fame and fortune, the possibilities seem endless.
You decide to invest some of your money into a charity that helps provide clean water to communities in need. Giving back to those less fortunate has always been important to you, and now you have the means to make a real difference.
