Questions to ask when activating the learner’s prior knowledge. When you are going to teach about peer pressure. Please do not include the word peer pressure as it may be their first time hearing it. Questions must not be personal as it may affect teaching and learning

1. Have you ever been in a situation where you felt the need to go along with what others were doing, even if you didn't really want to?

2. Can you think of a time when someone tried to convince you to do something that you knew wasn't the right choice?
3. Have you ever seen a friend or classmate do something that you knew wasn't a good idea, but they did it anyway because others were pressuring them?
4. Do you ever feel like you have to act a certain way or do certain things to fit in with a certain group of people?
5. Have you ever witnessed someone standing up to a group of friends or peers when they were pressuring them to do something they didn't want to do?
