Maritime climate

A maritime climate, also known as an oceanic climate, is a type of climate found along coastal regions where the influence of the ocean moderates temperatures and produces relatively mild and stable weather conditions. This type of climate is characterized by cool summers, mild winters, and high levels of precipitation throughout the year. The presence of large bodies of water helps to regulate temperature extremes, leading to narrower temperature ranges compared to continental climates. In addition, maritime climates often experience frequent fog, drizzle, and overcast skies due to the moist air coming from the ocean. Major cities with maritime climates include cities like Seattle, Vancouver, and London.
