Which of the following describes the resulting 2D figure when you slice a cylinder vertically? (1 point)

how could this be a circle

two identical circles

two circles, with one larger than the other

a rectangle

two identical circles

how come..if you cut it horizontally how could it still be a circle?

Apologies for the confusion in my previous response. When a cylinder is sliced vertically, the resulting 2D figure is two identical circles.

If sliced horizontally, the resulting 2D figure would be a rectangle, not a circle. Thank you for pointing out the error.
