Why do you think the author wrote this story?

I think that Kwame Alexander wrote this story to middle schoolers because we could learn that….

(make it sound like a fifth grader and make it less than 300 words)

I think that Kwame Alexander wrote this story for kids in middle school to teach us important lessons about friendship, teamwork, and overcoming challenges. We can learn from the characters in the story how to work together, never give up, and believe in ourselves. The author wants us to see that even when things are tough, we can still find a way to succeed if we support each other and stay positive. By reading this story, we can be inspired to be better friends, students, and people in general. Thank you, Mr. Alexander, for writing this amazing book for us to enjoy and learn from!
