Ratio scales

A ratio scale is a type of measurement scale that has a true zero point, meaning that the zero point indicates a complete absence of the quantity being measured. This scale also has equal intervals between points on the scale, allowing for meaningful comparisons between the quantities being measured. Examples of ratio scales include measures of weight, height, distance, and time. Ratio scales allow for all basic arithmetic operations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to be performed on the data.
