A man has a vasectomy. How has the composition of his semen changed?

After a vasectomy, the man's semen composition remains the same in terms of appearance and consistency. However, it no longer contains any sperm, as the procedure involves cutting and sealing the tubes (vas deferens) that carry sperm from the testicles to the urethra. As a result, the semen will no longer be able to fertilize an egg during sexual intercourse.
