Andrew Young is known for being a civil rights leader, politician, and diplomat. He was a close confidant of Martin Luther King Jr. and played a key role in the civil rights movement of the 1960s. Young also served as a congressman from Georgia, mayor of Atlanta, and United States ambassador to the United Nations.
