An antihero is a protagonist who lacks traditional heroic qualities, such as courage, morality, or selflessness. They may possess negative traits such as selfishness, cynicism, or a willingness to act immorally. Despite their flaws, antiheroes often still have redeeming qualities or motives that make audiences sympathize with or root for them. They typically do not conform to society's moral standards or expectations of a hero, but instead follow their own code of ethics or set of principles.
