Procedure of sodium bicarbonate ear drops?
1. Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the ear drops.
2. Tilt your head to the side or lie down on your side with the affected ear facing upwards.
3. Gently pull the outer ear lobe upward and outward to straighten the ear canal.
4. Hold the dropper bottle upside down and place the prescribed number of drops into the ear canal, usually 2 to 3 drops.
5. Stay in the same position for a few minutes to allow the drops to penetrate the ear canal.
6. Gently massage the area around the ear to help the drops move deeper into the ear canal.
7. Sit up or tilt your head to the opposite side to allow any excess drops to drain out.
8. Use a clean tissue to wipe away any excess drops that may have dripped onto the outer ear.
9. Wash your hands again after applying the ear drops.
10. Use the ear drops as directed by your healthcare provider, typically 2 to 3 times a day for a specified duration. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
11. If you experience any pain, discomfort, or irritation while using the ear drops, stop using them and consult your healthcare provider immediately.
