There are many pros and cons of genetically modified organisms. Some of the pros can be that the modified food can produce insulin for those who have a hard time naturally producing insulin. Also, genetically modified foods won't have that much negative impacts on you. For example, genetically modified foods won't have any long term heath effects on you, they provide needed vitamins, and it is just as nutritious as traditional food. In contrast, the cons of the GMO's could be that you might have a higher chance of allergic reactions and you may have a high chance of antibiotic resistance. This means that the bacteria could start becoming more resistant to current antibiotics in the organism. I personally do think that the benefits do outweigh the concerns, and that GMO's are safe for humans to eat as long as you do not have any serious medical heath involving intake on food.

why do you agree?

I agree that the benefits of genetically modified organisms outweigh the concerns because GMO's have the potential to address global issues such as food insecurity, malnutrition, and crop diseases. They can also help reduce the use of pesticides and herbicides, leading to a more sustainable agricultural system. Additionally, GMO's have been extensively studied and regulated by government agencies to ensure they are safe for consumption. Overall, I believe that the benefits of GMO's in improving food production and food security for a growing global population far outweigh the potential risks.
