Epithelial Cells Is a sign of UTI

Epithelial cells in the urine can be a sign of a urinary tract infection (UTI), but they can also be present in normal urine samples. Elevated levels of epithelial cells along with other symptoms such as increased frequency of urination, pain or burning sensation during urination, cloudy or foul-smelling urine, and fever may indicate a UTI. It is important to consult a healthcare provider for proper diagnosis and treatment if a UTI is suspected.
