The Vietnam War was the first war that was televised nightly, allowing the world to see the action almost immediately. Not surprisingly, many began to protest the actions they saw. How do you think you would have reacted to seeing images of the war every night on the evening news? Explain what you might have done. (This should be a fully developed paragraph.)

If I had been alive and watching the news during the Vietnam War, I believe I would have been deeply disturbed by the images I saw. I think I would have been outraged by the violence and destruction, and saddened by the loss of life on both sides of the conflict. As a result, I believe I would have joined the anti-war movement and participated in protests to call for an end to the war. I would have felt a moral responsibility to speak out against the injustices I saw on my television screen and work towards a peaceful resolution to the conflict. Seeing the devastation of war on a nightly basis would have motivated me to take action and work towards a more peaceful world.
