In order to design the most destructive species possible, I would give it rapid reproductive capabilities to quickly increase its population and overwhelm other species in the ecosystem. I would also give it sharp teeth and claws for hunting and tearing apart prey, as well as venomous spines or glands to defend itself against predators. Additionally, I would give this species a high tolerance for various environmental conditions to ensure it can thrive and spread rapidly. By combining these abilities, this species will wreak havoc on the ecosystem by outcompeting and outbreeding other species, ultimately causing irreversible damage.
