Hello;

I am registered my business name and EIN that I have received from the State of Delaware, I reside in Indiana. Why do I have to register again in Indiana and pay when i have gone through all the necessary channels?

Although you have registered your business name and obtained an EIN from the State of Delaware, you still need to register your business in Indiana because each state has its own set of regulations and requirements for businesses operating within its jurisdiction. Registering in Indiana ensures that your business is compliant with state laws and can legally operate in the state. Additionally, registering in Indiana allows the state to track and regulate businesses for tax purposes and other regulatory reasons. While it may seem redundant to go through the registration process again and pay additional fees, it is necessary to operate legally in Indiana.
