The Bolsheviks rose to power through a combination of factors, including their strong leadership under Vladimir Lenin, their effective organization and propaganda efforts, and the support of industrial workers, peasants, and soldiers who were disillusioned with the Provisional Government's handling of World War I and other issues. The Bolsheviks ultimately seized power in the October Revolution of 1917, overthrowing the Provisional Government and establishing a socialist government in Russia.
