I find Impressionism to be a very intricate and complex musical style. The use of unique scales and unconventional harmonies creates a dream-like quality that is both captivating and soothing. The gentle and flowing rhythms, along with the delicate dynamics, create a sense of ethereal beauty.

On the other hand, 12-tone music feels very structured and deliberate. The absence of traditional tonality and the strict adherence to a twelve-tone scale give this style a somewhat dissonant and cerebral quality. The fast tempo and abrupt changes in dynamics create a sense of urgency and tension.

Jazz, on the other hand, is upbeat and lively. The syncopated rhythms, improvisational nature, and use of blues scales give this music a sense of freedom and spontaneity. The swinging tempo and dynamic fluctuations create a sense of energy and excitement.

Out of the three musical styles, I personally enjoy jazz the most. I love the creativity and improvisational aspect of jazz music, as well as the infectious rhythms and lively melodies. It never fails to get my foot tapping and put me in a good mood.
