Before 1450, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy was established so each nation would live in peace and harmony. It initially included the following 5 nations:
1. Mohawk
2. Oneida
3. Onondaga
4. Cayuga
5. Seneca
Later on, the Tuscarora Nation joined the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, making it a total of six member nations.
