Lisa's Bird

Lisa's best friend Susan has a pet bird named Polly. Lisa loves this bird. One day, she told her parents that she would like to have a bird like Polly for her birthday. Her parents told her that birds require a great deal of care. They need to be fed on a regular basis. Their cages also need to be cleaned. Lisa's parents said that she could have a bird if she agreed to take care of the bird. Lisa promised. For the first few weeks, Lisa fed the bird and cleaned the cage. After a month, her parents noticed that the cage was dirty and birdseed was scattered on the floor underneath the cage.
