Is it true that some biomes can be too small to see without a microscope?

Some biomes such as microbial communities or microscopic aquatic ecosystems like ponds or wetlands can indeed be too small to see without a microscope. These tiny ecosystems are made up of microorganisms, algae, bacteria, and other small organisms that are not visible to the naked eye. Without the aid of a microscope, these biomes would appear as just a small drop of water or a seemingly empty patch of soil.
