Lawyers, also known as legal practitioners in Papua New Guinea, can handle cases in a District Land Court. They need to be qualified and admitted to practice law in the country in order to represent clients in this court. Additionally, parties involved in a case can also represent themselves without a lawyer in the District Land Court.
