Read "Tipping Point. In 3-4 sentences, identify a tipping point in your life and explain how it was similar to or different from the one Josh describes in the poem. Use specific details from your life and text evidence from the novel to support your answer.

One tipping point in my life was when I decided to switch majors in college. I was studying business, but I realized it wasn't something I was truly passionate about. I reached a breaking point when I couldn't see myself pursuing a career in business for the rest of my life. I made the decision to switch to psychology, which was something I was truly interested in and made me excited for my future. This tipping point was similar to the one Josh describes in the poem because it was a moment of realization that led to a major shift in my life path. Just like how Josh found his tipping point in The Giver, I found mine in college and it ultimately guided me towards a more fulfilling future.
