Monopolist when act as competitive

When a monopolist acts as though they are in a competitive market, they may lower their prices, increase their production, and improve their products or services in order to attract more customers and increase market share. This behavior is often temporary and may be done in response to competitive pressure from new entrants or substitute products. However, a monopolist's ability to sustain this behavior is limited by their market power and lack of true competition. In some cases, a monopolist may engage in predatory pricing or other anti-competitive tactics in order to maintain their monopoly position.
