Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich installed a swimming pool exhibit in a museum in Kanazawa, Japan. People attending the exhibit peer down into what looks like deep, shimmering water. Other people stare up at them from the bottom of the pool. The people on the bottom appear to be submerged, but the pool is actually empty. All that separates the two groups is a thin layer of water held between two sheets of glass.
