Assessment Method: Mind map

1. Work in your group to complete this task.

2. Brainstorm and mind map codes of conduct for the following topics;

2.1. Dress code

2.2. Behaviour code

2.3. Accepting and giving gifts

2.4. Dealing with

conflict

3. Start by creating a central topic for each code of conduct. For example, for dress code, write "Dress Code" in the center of the mind map.

4. From the central topic, draw branches and sub-branches for different aspects of the code of conduct. For example, under dress code, you could have branches for appropriate attire for different settings (e.g. office, casual, formal), gender-neutral policies, and guidelines for personal grooming.

5. Discuss and brainstorm as a group to generate ideas and suggestions for each aspect of the code of conduct. Write these ideas and suggestions as sub-branches under each branch.

6. As you brainstorm, connect related ideas and suggestions by drawing lines or arrows between them. This will help to visually organize and connect the different elements of the code of conduct.

7. Repeat this process for each code of conduct: behaviour code, accepting and giving gifts, and dealing with conflict. Generate ideas and suggestions, and connect them to the central topic using branches and sub-branches.

8. Review and refine the mind map as a group. Discuss and prioritize the ideas and suggestions, and make adjustments to the mind map as needed.

9. Once the mind map is complete, take a step back and assess the overall structure and coherence of the code of conduct. Make any final adjustments or additions as necessary.

10. Use the mind map as a reference for creating a written code of conduct document. Translate the ideas and suggestions from the mind map into clear, concise, and specific guidelines and policies.

11. Regularly review and update the code of conduct document to ensure it remains relevant and effective. The mind map can serve as a useful tool for future revisions or additions to the code of conduct.
