WRITE IN 3 SENTENCES

Developments outside of Texas, such as the Industrial Revolution in Europe and the increased demand for cotton textiles, created a high demand for Texas cotton. This demand was fueled by the growth of the textile industry and the desire for cheap raw materials. Additionally, developments within the state, such as the introduction of cottonseed oil as a valuable byproduct of cotton, and the invention of oleomargarine, which used cottonseed oil as a primary ingredient, further increased the demand for cotton. The expansion of railroads and the introduction of innovative ginning and baling machines made it easier and more efficient for Texas farmers to produce and transport larger quantities of cotton, thus encouraging them to rapidly increase their cotton production.
