All of the above reasons are mentioned in different accounts and interpretations of Muhammad's retreat to the cave outside Mecca. It is believed that he sought solitude to reflect on the society's problems, find wisdom from God, and escape persecution from the Quraysh tribe, who were against his teachings. Additionally, according to Islamic belief, Muhammad received his first revelation from the Angel Gabriel during this retreat.
