2. Now, write a paragraph that compares and contrasts the two stories you chose. Use the chart above to help you. You must write in complete sentences.

The two stories, "The Three Little Pigs" and "Little Red Riding Hood and the Cunning Wolf," both involve a cunning and deceptive wolf as the antagonist. In "The Three Little Pigs," the wolf tries to trick and devour the three little pigs by disguising himself and attempting to blow down their homes. However, the pigs outsmart him by building sturdy houses out of different materials - straw, sticks, and bricks. On the other hand, in "Little Red Riding Hood and the Cunning Wolf," the wolf disguises himself as the grandmother and tricks Little Red Riding Hood into revealing her grandmother's location. The wolf then gobbles up the grandmother and attempts to devour Little Red Riding Hood as well. In this story, Little Red Riding Hood is ultimately saved by a woodsman who cuts open the wolf's belly and rescues them both. While both stories involve a cunning wolf and a desire to devour the main characters, they differ in terms of the outcome and the manner in which the wolves are defeated.
