1. You need to design an original character (these can sometimes be referred to as an OC/O.C.) Draw out your character showing three (3) views: a front, side, and back view of your character. Think about their personalities, what they are wearing, are they a person, a being from another planet, an animal? This portfolio can be done on plain paper and pencil--it does not have to be drawn on the computer or done digitally (although you will have to photograph/scan them in so I can see them!)
2. Draw your character doing four (4) complete body action poses. Think about punching, kicking, jumping, falling, etc.
3. Altogether you will need seven (7) pictures for this assignment. Put them into a Word Document to save space.
4. Write a paragraph to include in your submission. Describe the character and the setting that you created for it. Whether you were going to turn this into a full-length feature or a short, give some idea of what kind of adventures the character would have.
