However, it is important to note that the majority of narratives and written records primarily focus on the experiences and perspectives of European explorers, colonizers, and indigenous peoples of the Americas. The contributions and experiences of African slaves, Asian immigrants, and other marginalized groups are often underrepresented or overlooked in these accounts. In recent years, efforts have been made to expand the scope of research and highlight the diverse individuals impacted by the Columbian Exchange.
