What is school based resource room

A school-based resource room is a designated classroom or area within a school where students with disabilities receive specialized instruction and support. It is a space where students can receive individualized instruction tailored to their specific needs, such as additional help with academic subjects, assistance with organization and study skills, or support for behavioral or emotional needs. The resource room may be staffed by special education teachers, paraprofessionals, or other support personnel who work closely with the students to provide the necessary accommodations and adaptations to help them succeed academically and socially.
